------The Waiting Room------

Just down the hall and a turn to the right
Enter, be seated, read a while if you might
The room may be crowded but you'll find a seat
You have much in common with those that you meet

Most visitors around you have been here before
It's nature that calls them to return here once more
All those who come here are after a cure
They suffer from something that most lives endure

Some are seen quickly and go on their way
Complications in others causes delay
What's solves the affliction which most people incur
It's just something hidden that we seldom refer

Remembered from childhood, it's stored in the soul
A lifetime companion, it gives warmth when you're cold
What does our soul need, which we are willing to wait
It's something we thrive on and is part of our fate

For deeds in your lifetime
including those from life's start
Await APPROVAL from society,
your friends
or your heart.
