------My Sorrow------

Music = Bridge over Troubled Waters

The sun rose early this morning
bringing it's golden glow
It was welcomed on the hilltops
and in valleys far below

There were no clouds to fill the sky
for they gathered in my heart
As it was only yesterday
God reclaimed his precious art

The sun may shine and birds may sing
but not so bright or sweet
No longer will paths of righteousness
be trodden by your feet

We all are saddened by the loss
of one we held so dear
There'll be no one to fill your place
no one on earth comes near

The candle of hope you always shared
with people great and small
Bring memories of your smiling face
and cause the tears to fall

Tho' there is some consolation
and for reasons heaven knows
When thoughts of you makes teardrops fall
God creates a lovely rose

I soon will pick a perfect rose
so beautiful and sweet
and once again will realize
"you" made this earth complete
