------An Ode to Salsa------

I like my Salsa tart and sassy
I'm not the pickety type
Don't care if it's not from San Antone
like that advertising hype

Just chunk in tomatoes, onions and such
The thicker the better , I say
Bring on tortillas or most anything
I'll show how to pack it away

I like it hot --or if mild's all you have
I won't refuse it at all
Just pile it on eggs or hash browns, please do
It makes my appetite stand tall

When my life is done and Saint Peter calls me
You know I'll have one last request
Make sure there's plenty of Salsa in heaven
or I'll be another one's guest.

I like it, I love it
