------The River of Life------

You fell into the river of life
like a raindrop from above.
It can't be said what began your life
was it passion or was it love.

You move downstream in the flow
from the very start.
You are yourself within yourself
though all becomes a part.

The river of life gives to you
a certain special hue.
You are moved by this personality
in all the things you do.

You try to safely guide your life
through unknowns that lie ahead.
But strong currents and dangers of life
aren't always easily read.

For some life seems to go their way
and everything comes out on top.
Others in eddies or undertows
have struggles that seldom stop.

Life don't treat all the same,
it is just a chance you take.
Good or bad what you become in life
is not always a choice you make.

We all will finish in the journey of life
with the very same conclusion.
There is no win or lose or draw
that's just mankind's illusion.
