-My Christmas Prayer-

I give this Christmas card to you
wishing happy yuletide cheer.
It's beyond the usual toys and gifts
exchanged with those held dear.
Our world still has its problems,
so I thought I'd like to share
a very special wish for you,
my Christmas season prayer


May each of God's creation's
find peace on earth this morn
to celebrate and realize
this day our Christ was born
And suffer not the children
to join in praising "him"
amid their gift exchanges
don't let his memory dim
And on this very special day
may each heart be so kind
to share a gift, if only love
with fallen souls we find
Remember it's the giving
to show what's in our heart
and overlook the getting
God  will provide our part,
with Joy to all who care
and Love each time we pray
He'll bring our life the help we need
to make it through each day
So let us do what we can do
to make this season gold
and help the less than fortunate
the weak, the sick, the old
And may each raging battlefront
find time to understand
the point of all opposing views
bringing peace to every land.
Let's pray to celebrate his birth next year 
to find the earth in peace and love
and may the grace of God please follow us
and guide us from above..
