A Sweet Peach

A Georgia peach is oh, so sweet
Its image still dwells on my mind
Its fragrance still haunts my memory
and its taste is beyond sublime
I'm willing to trade five apples
    and maybe ten tangarines
but unless you've been to Georgia
you can't possibly know what I mean
A taste that's fresh and friendly
yet as delicate as the dew
With an aroma straight from heaven
and its juice is delightful too
    So if you're visiting Georgia
please go when the peaches are ripe
A case of them's good for gift giving
    and I'm the appreciative type.
