where do you reside
how do I find you

letting go
coping with weakness
addictiveness of personal gain
individual worth
the syndrome of success

finding quiescence of contentment
aligning my heart
my mind   
my life
with the spirit
the soul of the cosmos

are the sacrifices so painful
to be unbearable
the pathway 
so steep and rocky
to never reach the crest
the truth so simple
so pure
to be uncomprehensible

must attainment of humanity
be the Everest of life's endeavors
or the deepest chasm
in the sea of one's souls
                                 
is tranquillity eternally lost in El Dorado 
an imaginary dream
in the clouds of the mind
