------Missing You JD------

Music = Somewhere Out There

Somewhere on a mountain high
I know you must have gone
At last your search is over
and a loving friend went home.

Did you ever find those things,
Understanding, peace and love
Your lonely heart was seeking
And always singing of?

Along my way, I think of you
And all the words you wrote
Your voice sincerely honest
As you sang each perfect note.

A poet in a modern world
At times in deep despair
You sang of eagles soaring
And sunshine in the air.

Expressing just the way we feel
Inside each heart on earth
Singing words we need to hear
To give thoughts and feelings birth.

And now you're gone, there's no one left
To sing those words to me
New songs it seems don't touch my heart
Of just how life should be.

Mountains, lakes and forests green
And eagles way on high
Still sing their lovely lullabies
But it's just a sad goodbye.
