------Clueless------

I'm sorry I did not know the answer
just didn't know what words to say
left confused, puzzled and perplexed
when asked about existance today

I can't explain the universe at all
unsure of the real meaning of life
if God really exists outside of man's heart
I'm clueless why God don't have a wife

why are some folks born to be rich
and others get poverty and pain
a few see the light at the end of the tunnel
but for some it's an oncoming train

I can't give an answer to Siamese twins
when two bodies share organs or hearts
or give a logical reason for murder or war
or why hatred can't stop when it starts

Why is the sky blue, how big is the ocean
where do babies come from
these questions may have such easy answers
but on so many others I'm dumb

why is there greed all over the planet
why hasn't peace been achieved
why don't you see smiles on faces of people
instead of the frowns that's perceived

isn't being alive a thing to be treasured
or just a large burden to bear
Is death a human's final farewell
or a prelude to rebirth's fanfare

I'm sorry I did not know the answer
does anyone know for sure what's true
give me life's answers without hesitation 
not saying "I don't have a clue"
