------A Winter's View------
The perceptions in our life
are warm or sometimes colder
When looking at a similar scene
as caught in the eye of the beholder
I like to walk, to exhilarate
in woods of fresh fallen snow
to glimpse at nature's handiwork
when none of her scars ever show
A beautiful sight, so lovely and calm
silent, unscathed and serene
A reach for thoughts of purity
in hearts of men it may seem
For those when lost, alone and cold
this view would not be seen so grand
just a lonely, bitter obstacle
That will bring icy death if it can.
Where danger and fear arise and grow
in each moment you're forced to linger
in this natural winter paradise,
lethal as a scorpion's stinger.
