John G. Richardson



TUSCALOOSA | John G. Richardson, age 61, of Tuscaloosa, died Oct. 6, 2007, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. John Dickinson officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with the funeral home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.


He was preceded in death by Clarence Edward Richardson Sr. and Oletta Huffstutler Richardson, both of Tuscaloosa.

Survivors include his daughter, Shea Richardson of Huntsville; and his brother, Clarence Edward Richardson Jr. (Linda) of Tuscaloosa.

John G. Richardson graduated from Tuscaloosa High School, and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He was a loving father.

Honorary pallbearers are Uniroyal Goodrich, V.A. Hospital, and the TSICU nursing staff at DCH.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the V.A. Hospital.
