TUSCALOOSA Linda Fay Fleming, age 64, of Tuscaloosa, died Sept. 21, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Durham officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira D. McBryde; her mother, Olivia McBryde; and her son, Daniel Porter Fleming. Survivors include her husband, Fred Dawson Fleming of Tuscaloosa; her daughter, Kacie Fleming Obradovich and son-in-law Mark Daniel Obradovich of Tuscaloosa; her sister-in-law, Kathie Black; her brother-in-law, Hubert Black; and her grandchildren, Milan Thomas (Milo) Obradovich and Daniel Cooper Obradovich of Tuscaloosa. Fay was born in Tuscaloosa and graduated from Tuscaloosa High School. She obtained a degree in Pharmacy from Auburn University. During her career she provided dedicated service to Northport Pharmacy, University of Alabama Student Health Center, and Senior Care Pharmacy. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a longtime member of Soroptimist. She was an extraordinary wife and mother and an adored grandmother, and was loved by all who were blessed to know her. Her laughter will be missed, but the love and strength she gave will live on in those whose lives she touched. Pallbearers will be Wayne Beall, Jack Washburne, Horace Stone, Terry Stanley, Dane Yarbrough, and Rick Stephens of Senior Care Pharmacy.
