Jimmie Ellen Black Williams
TUSCALOOSA | Jimmie Ellen Black Williams, 57 of 869 Pin Brook Lane, died February 20, 2004 at her home in Tuscaloosa. Services will be held 11am Monday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Timothy Killion will officiate. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation is tonight from 6-9 at the funeral home. Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is directing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Black.
Survivors are her spouse, Cary J. Williams, Tuscaloosa; daughter, Ashley W. Maughan (Daniel), Tuscaloosa; son, Christopher J. Williams (Melissa), Northport; grandchild, Taylor Ellen Williams.
She was born August 29, 1946 in Montgomery Ala. Graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1964. Received her BS in Math from the University of Alabama in 1968. Lifelong member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and served on the Board of Directors for the West Alabama Rehabilitation Center. Presented at the 1964 and a member of Junior League of Tuscaloosa.
Pallbearers will be Gene Poole, Dennis Stanard, Tommy Howard, Robert Prince, Joe Hearn, Richard Hynds, Robert Hernandez, Ray Kirkley, De Martenson.
Honorary pallbearers are Physicians and Staff at the DCH Cancer Treatment Center. Hospice of West Alabama, Staff of 6 South at DCH, members of the Tuscaloosa High School Class of 1964.
