Obituary: 

William Ryan "Bill" Barringer, age 66, of Haleyville, Al passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. Bill was born in Tuscaloosa, 
AL. the son of the late Festus and Evelyn Ryan Barringer, His first wife Kathryn Boykin Barringer preceded him in death. 
Bill was a faithful member of First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Choir, and served as a Deacon, he was a 
retired Electrical Engineer with Alabama Power, charter member of the Haleyville Rotary and a Assistant Volunteer Coach 
in Cross Country and Track. His Visitation is Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 
Haleyville. Funeral Service is Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Haleyville. Body will lie in 
state from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jared Case and Dr. Jim Cooley officiating, Burial to follow at Winston Memorial 
Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Barringer; children, Jason (Angela) Barringer, Brooks Barringer and Mattie 
Barringer; sister, Mary Lou (John) McGuckin; brother, David (Mary Jo) Barringer; granddaughter, Edaline Barringer; father 
in law and mother in law, Charles and Dot Pierce; a host of relatives and friends.
